Investor lobby names 94 groups short on women in boardroom
Several well-known British companies — including St James’s Place, Domino’s Pizza and Restaurant Group — have been named and shamed by the UK’s investor lobby group for having only one or no women on their boards. The Investment Association, which represents asset managers controlling £7.7tn, has singled out 94 listed companies because of their lack of female board representation so far this AGM season. Of these, 20 had one or no women directors.
